Why is TFN willing to give me free financial news and recommendations?

Why is TFN (Taipan Financial News) willing to give me free financial news and recommendations, stock picks etc.? Are these guys legitimate?
I could see their links on LOTS of such financial news websites. They even have some TV shows I guess. Just wondering why would they give out such information for free!

I would go with the Wall Street Journal if they had free access to their news, so I’m looking for some other source with 1) good financial news and 2) that news available as a feed I can put into my news reader.
The feed would have to be financial-specific, i.e. I don’t want a feed that combines financial news with everything else.
Thanks!

Why just shut down News discussion Boards? Financial ones are more controlled?

The financial boards do more harm with their propaganda and misleading info than some of the painfully honest responses on your news discussion boards. I noticed the Aussie Yahoo still seems to have a free speech type news discussion board.. Are you changing things regionally only?
There were alot of truths coming out of your News Boards, Perhaps TOO MUCH?
I’m saddened to see the clamp down on free thought discussions.

But they are getting tired of the President AKA want a be rock star news conferences
An executive at one of the three other broadcasters, who asked for anonymity because the conversations were private, said that network’s executives had expressed concern to the White House about the frequency of prime-time news conferences and the financial sacrifice they were making in carrying the event. The executive said it was hoped the administration would show more flexibility in working with networks to find the best times to schedule the events.
He really is over doing getting in front of the cameras.
